PSG set to hijack Arsenal bid for Petr Cech with CRAZY £39m contract offer
Former Chelsea and Manchester United keeper Mark Bosnich believe that Cech can make a real difference at a club, especially Arsenal, who reports have stated that Cech is interested in.
“If Petr Cech does go to Arsenal and they do pick up another quality player, either an attacking midfielder or another striker, I really do think Arsenal are going to be a major threat for the title,” Bosnich told talkSport.
Cech has warmed the bench almost the whole season, after Thibaut Courtois returned from loan from Atletico Madrid and earned the starting spot last summer. The Czech really didn’t do anything wrong at Chelsea, but the 33-year-old is wanting to get active playing time next season.
And not surprisingly a lot of teams are interested, including Arsenal and Man United, as well as PSG, although it is reported that he wants to stay in the Premier League.
“I can understand why Cech would want to stay in the Premier League,” Bosnich added. “It tells me he still thinks he is good enough to play for a top side, which he is, and he probably feels hard done by because he has done nothing wrong at Chelsea.”
Cech has had a very successful career in Stamford Bridge, with 12 major trophies-including four Premier League titles and the Champions League.
