Arsenal transfer news
Arsenal are expected to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in the coming days and will make him their highest paid goalkeeper of all time, according to CaughtOffside.
The 33-year-old will earn £100,000 per week at the Emirates Stadium, more than club legends like David Seaman and Jens Lehmann, and his move is also likely to force David Ospina out of the club.
AS Roma are eyeing up the Colombian shot-stopper, who is not content to be second choice in north London, meaning Wojciech Szczesny will act as Cech’s understudy.
Cech was not a regular in his final season with Chelsea, but is still regarded as one of the best players in Europe in his position.
