Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler was benched for the Week 16 game against the Detroit Lions, and he was replaced by Jimmy Clausen.
The Bears lost, 20-14, to the Lions. Cutler leads the league in turnovers, including 18 interceptions. However, the Bears will be forced to give him back the starting job as Clausen is out with a concussion.
The Bears will play their regular season finale against the Minnesota Vikings, who have a solid pass defense.
