The Chicago Bears are expected to have safety Chris Conte back for their next preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks after coming off shoulder surgery.
Chicago Bears safety Chris Conte underwent surgery on his right shoulder and had not participated in practice until last week, and he is looking to get back on the field.
His wish is expected to be granted as it’s looking like he will take the field Friday against the Seattle Seahawks.
Despite struggling last season, Conte is still one of the key safeties for the Bears and has 40 career starts, so he will look to earn a full-time starting role.
Here is the report of Conte’s status from the Bears’ official Twitter account.
