Tight end has tweeted that he intends to join Chicago soon.
The Chicago Bears are reported to have signed free agent tight end Martellus Bennett, previously of New York Giants, reports NFL.com.
The free agent tweeted:
I’m proud to say I’ll be joining my other brother @bmarshall next season. #BEARDOWN

This is a clear sign that Bennett is on his way to Chicago and he will be a great addition to the team.
A big powerful player, that can be used in both the run game and as a legitimate target in the red-zone, and a middle of the field target for QB Jay Cutler, the Bears may have just found their second option in the passing game, behind Brandon Marshall.
While the details haven’t been sorted finalised yet, it could be in the region of a four year deal, with around $8m in guaranteed money.
This move is certainly a big step to helping the Bears compete with Green Bay for the NFC North title next season and could be come a game changer.
