The Chicago Bears’ official Twitter account revealed that wide receiver Brandon Marshall has a dark past involving his mother being abused.

Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has had a checkered past that includes domestic assault, and it has since been revealed that he suffers from borderline personality disorder.
Another possible root of the wide receiver’s troubled past has also been discovered. The Bears’ official Twitter account revealed that Marshall’s mother was physically and mentally abused when he was growing up, and she was also sexually assaulted.
Despite his troubles, Marshall has been a consistently reliable receiver with seven consecutive 1,000-yard seasons despite playing on three different teams.
