The Cincinnati Bengals played Sunday’s tie-game against the Carolina Panthers without star WR A.J. Green and the former Pro Bowler thinks the team will be in the same boat again next week.
Green reportedly told Bob Holtzman of ESPN that he expects his injured toe will keep him out against the Indianapolis Colts in Week Seven. Green does not appear to need surgery, but was wearing a protective boot on Sunday while watching his teammates work out.
Green is scheduled to visit a foot specialist for the second time on Friday, which should give him a better idea of how long he’ll be out of the lineup.
With the team also missing WR Marvin Jones, Mohamed Sanu was the leading receiver for the Bengals in the game, catching 10 passes for 120 yards and a TD.
