The Missouri Tigers finished their season with an 11-3 record by winning, 33-17, in the Citrus Bowl over the Minnesota Gophers, who fell to 8-5.

No. 16 Missouri bounced back from a miserable SEC Championship performance with a 33-17 victory over No. 25 Minnesota in the Citrus Bowl.
The Gophers jumped out to an early lead before the Tigers took a 13-7 lead, and it eventually turned into 19-17 at halftime.
The Tigers pulled away in the fourth quarter with 14 unanswered points to win. Quarterback Maty Mauk threw for 97 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 12-of-19 passing.
Running backs Marcus Murphy and Russell Hansbrough stole the show though as they respectively rushed for 157 and 119 yards. Hansbrough scored a touchdown while Mauk added a rushing touchdown.
Wide receiver Bud Sasser caught the majority of the receiving yards with seven catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
For the Gophers, quarterback Mitch Leidner threw for 258 yards and a touchdown on 21-of-31 passing.
Running back David Cobb rushed for 81 yards on 21 carries, and tight end Maxx Williams caught seven passes for 98 yards and a touchdown.
This win for Missouri put the SEC back on the right track as they have a winning bowl record again at 5-4 while the Big Ten’s record fell to 3-4.
