Chelsea news
The Blues are comfortably top of the Premier League at the moment, but have made themselves fairly unpopular this season with some of their conduct both on and off the pitch.
From Diego Costa’s dangerously physical play upfront to Mourinho’s constant attempts at stirring up conspiracy theories, Chelsea now look to be going even further in their efforts to play mind games before the end of the season.
The site has posted statistics of penalties awarded to the club this season in comparison to previous campaigns, with the Blues only getting two so far this term:
2014/15 – 2
2013/14 – 7
2012/13 – 11
2011/12 – 5
2010/11 – 8
2009/10 – 12
Still, this is not unheard of in football and it comes across as incredibly petty for the club’s official site to be releasing such loaded pieces.
