Manziel has been notorious for being a party animal, and this reputation only grew on him as he struggled in his rookie season after getting a chance to start over Brian Hoyer.
His first start involved the Browns being shut out, 30-0, by the Cincinnati Bengals as he threw 80 yards and two interceptions for a 27.4 passer rating.
The quarterback has entered rehab due to his alcohol use, but he is due to exit soon. He has been seen golfing with his father, and he is allowed to spend time with family and friends while staying in rehab.
Manziel gained fame at Texas A&M by becoming the first freshman in college football history to win the Heisman Trophy, and he has popularly become known as “Johnny Football.”
The quarterback will receive an opportunity to battle for the starting job with Josh McCown, who recently signed a three-year deal with the team. Hoyer is no longer in Cleveland as he has signed with the Houston Texans.
