Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe was released by the Kansas City Chiefs after spending the first eight seasons of his career with them, but he is now being targeted by the Cleveland Browns.

This is a prime opportunity for the Browns to sign Bowe for cheap since he is coming off a down year where he was held to 754 receiving yards and zero touchdown catches.
The Browns are in need of a wide receiver since Josh Gordon has been unable to stay out of trouble, and Brian Hartline will not cut it as a No. 1 receiver.
Bowe will not likely reach 1,000 receiving yards again, especially considering that he would have Josh McCown or Johnny Manziel throwing to him in Cleveland.
However, he would give the Browns a solid receiving corps that would not consist of a locker room headache.
Brian Hoyer was able to manage with Miles Austin and Andrew Hawkins as his top wide receivers, so the Browns’ starting quarterback will have an improved disposal of weapons if Bowe signs.
