Many fans will say that the Seminoles are overrated and have had too easy of a schedule. While that may be true, they have won 29 games in a row and are the defending national champions. While their resume prevents them from being in the top two, they will not be shut out of the College Football Playoff.
Their win against No. 11 Georgia Tech puts a ranked win on their resume, and quarterback Jameis Winston put on his best performance of the season by throwing three touchdowns without an interception. Running back Dalvin Cook stepped up in Karlos Williams’ absence with 177 rushing yards and a touchdown. If Williams can return from a concussion, the Seminoles offense will be even more dangerous. This team has shown they can win in times of adversity. Whether they can hang with Alabama and Oregon will be revealed in January.
