No. 16 Arizona State is coming off a 58-23 drubbing of New Mexico, and they will play their first Pac-12 game of the season on the road against Colorado as they enter with a 2-0 record.
Quarterback Taylor Kelly had a solid game with 192 passing yards and two touchdowns with 84 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.
Running back D.J. Foster continued to be the most dangerous part of the Sun Devils’ offense as he rushed for 216 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. The Sun Devils rushed for 423 total yards.
The Buffaloes are currently 1-1 after defeating Massachusetts, 41-38. Quarterback Sefo Liufau threw for 318 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.
Wide receiver Nelson Spruce scored two touchdowns while catching 10 passes for 145 yards. He has four total touchdown receptions on the season, but the Sun Devils have shown a solid pass defense so far this season.
The Sun Devils should have no problem with the Buffaloes despite being on the road. Their high-powered offense will be too much, and they will look to get quality reps in before they have to face UCLA, USC and Stanford.
Prediction: Arizona State 35, Colorado 14
