Afobe spent time on loan at Sheffield Wednesday last season, scoring two goals, but has now dropped back down into League One where he previously spent a successful spell with Huddersfield Town.
Afobe’s future at Emirates Stadium looks far from secure, but some good performances and consistent goalscoring for Karl Robinson’s side at Stadium:MK could place Afobe back in Arsene Wenger’s plans, with the powerful forward previously having been considered as a real prospect by the Gunners.
