5) Burnley
£31.16m spent + 29 points = £1,074,483 per point
A brave strategy from Sean Dyche to spend so little and attempt to survive, but it proved to be the catalyst of the Clarets demins.
6) Leicester City
£41.8m spent + 37 points = £1,129,730 per point
It looked to be one unlucky season for Nigel Pearson’s side who were always threatening but never managing to achieve results.
In this late run they’ve managed to do just that – and this without any serious investment in January excluding the vanity signing of Kramaric who hasn’t really featured.
They look like they will be a Premier League side again next season and fair play to them!
