Things almost came to blows between the pair as they started pushing each other and arguing, before a member of the Reds backroom staff intervened and led Henderson away.
It’s unknown exactly what caused the ruck between the two players, but the midfielder and Costa had confronted each other on the pitch towards the end of the game at Anfield as well.
The Spain international was accused of standing on Henderson’s foot and this latest rift between the two clubs will simply add more bite to their second-leg clash on Wednesday.
Things are neatly poised ahead of the match at Stamford Bridge, with both teams understandably keen to secure their first (and perhaps only) piece of silverware this season.
