The Michigan State Spartans rallied from a 20-point deficit to defeat the Baylor Bears, 42-41, in the Cotton Bowl to finish with an 11-2 record.

No. 8 Michigan State stunned No. 5 Baylor and the college football world by rallying from a 20-point deficit to win, 42-41.
After Baylor held a 41-21 lead, Michigan State scored 21 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. The final score of the game came with 17 seconds remaining.
Spartans quarterback Connor Cook threw the game-winning touchdown pass to wide receiver Keith Mumphery, which can be viewed on Vine.
Cook threw for 314 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions on 24-of-42 passing, and running back Jeremy Langford steamrolled through Baylor’s defense with 162 yards and three touchdowns on 27 carries.
For the Bears, quarterback Bryce Petty threw for 550 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 36-of-51 passing.
Wide receiver KD Cannon led the Bears in receiving with eight catches for 197 yards and two touchdowns, and Corey Coleman added seven catches for 150 yards and a touchdown.
