Hollywood actor has suggested that he may be about to buy the Yorkshire club.
Russell Crowe is the surprise candidate to become the next owner of Championship club, Leeds United, having dropped some big hints via his Twitter account.

The Whites are once again being linked with new ownership, as their previous high-profile owner Massimo Cellino has severed all ties with the Yorkshire side, selling both his minority stake in the club and its parent company, Eleonora Sports Limited.
Crowe is a Leeds United fan, and has experience of owning a sporting outfit, as he currently holds the controlling stake in NRL side, South Sydney Rabbitohs. Today, he has taken to his Twitter page to suggest he may be interested in purchasing the club.

Once he had stated his interest, Crowe engaged in a brief discussion with a member of a fans group about how he would use the model at Rabbitohs to bring success to Elland Road.
