Axed West Indies all-rounder Kieron Pollard has hit out at the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) on Twitter after he was left out of the 15-man squad for the upcoming Cricket World Cup.
Pollard also took to social media to thank West Indies teammate Chris Gayle, who said it was “ridiculous” that both Pollard and Dwayne Bravo were left out of the squad travelling to Australia and New Zealand.
Due to a pay dispute, both Bravo and Pollard lead a revolt during the team’s aborted tour of India which soured the relationship between the players and the board.
It’s fair to say Pollard isn’t too happy judging by these Tweets…
Thanks @henrygayle well batted on and off the field ..!! Keep that fire burning ..!!
