Canberra travel to Cronulla as both clubs look ahead to new campaigns. Both sides had poor years in 2014, the Sharks taking out the wooden spoon and the Raiders finishing second last.
Canberra has had a clean out though, and brought in some fresh blood, including Josh Hodgson and Sia Soliola from Super League. The pressure will be on Ricky Stuart for his team to perform from the very beginning.
Cronulla will be keen to put the ASADA scandal finally behind them. Shane Flanagan is back at the helm and Ben Barba will want to get back to his best NRL form.
Both clubs need big seasons to put the horror of 2014 well behind them – and will each be hoping for a winning start to the 2015.
