See-sawing game sees the Tigers get home narrowly.
The Wests Tigers earned their sixth win of the NRL season after coming back from a 10-point deficit in the second half to beat the Cronulla Sharks at Remondis Stadium reports Back Page Lead.
Cronulla grabbed the early lead through a penalty kick to Michael Gordon in the fifth minute, in what was a surprising move to take the points rather than build pressure early in the game.
Both sides were guilty of mistakes early in the game as they struggled to build pressure enough to allow the first try to be scored.
The game took a serious turn when Wade Graham reacted to a tackle, with the backrower later accusing a Tigers’ player of biting him while on the ground, with the game moving on despite the accusation.
However, if followed through by the Sharks the incident is sure to be looked at further during the week.
