Jay Feely is the Arizona Cardinal’s all-time leader in FG percentage and has played 64 straight games for the team since 2010.
The Arizona Cardinals released 13 players on Monday in preparation for Tuesday’s deadline for 75-man rosters. Among the cuts was K Jay Feely, who has been the team’s starting K since 2010.
Feely signed with the Cardinals in 2010 after being released by the New York Jets. In four seasons with the Cardinals, Feely started all 64 games and made 98 out of 115 FG attempts, which gave him a FG percentage of 85.2%, the highest in Cardinals franchise history.
Feely posted on his Twitter account his joy in being able to play with the Cardinals for four seasons:
It’s been an honor to play for the @AZCardinals Michael Bidwill, thank you for your leadership and friendship. AZ will still be home!

The Cardinals will turn to undrafted rookie K Chandler Catanzaro to replace Feely or sign another K after final roster cuts.
