One week after lewd pictures of Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was leaked on the internet, the team got into more hot water by engaging in a brawl with the Oakland Raiders during a joint practice.
A joint practice between the Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders went from heated to nasty to all-out brawl on Tuesday after a hard tackle by Cowboys cornerback Morris Claiborne on Raiders tight end Mychal Rivera.
The hard hit in which Claiborne also walked over Rivera, drew the ire of several Raiders players who immediately confronted him and began a pushing-and-shoving match that exploded into a brawl with players on both sides dog-piling each other.
At one point, a Raiders fan also got involved a swung a helmet at Cowboys CB B.W. Webb – the swing missed and no one was seriously harmed in the brawl.
“Nothing better than Raider fans,” Raiders owner Mark Davis said in the Star-Telegram.
