The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a dominant win as they face the Dallas Cowboys, who were demolished in their opener against the San Diego Chargers.
The Dallas Cowboys were humiliated by the San Diego Chargers, 27-7 in their preseason opener. They did not play with quarterback Tony Romo since he is still healing from a back injury. They will look to recover in their next match against the Baltimore Ravens Saturday.
Brandon Weeden looked solid in his spot start, so his No. 2 job appears to be safe. However, the defense was awful like last season. The pass rush was non-existent, but rookie safety Ahmad Dixon registered a whopping 12 tackles in his debut.
Running back Joseph Randle appears primed to stick around in Dallas after rushing for 50 yards, but Ryan Williams also looked solid too as he added another 29 yards.
Meanwhile, the Ravens looked like a dominant team as they demolished the San Francisco 49ers. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor solidified his hold on the No. 2 job with his mobility and overall solid passing.
The defense also looked fantastic as it held the 49ers to three points and 187 total yards. Rookie linebacker C.J. Mosley already looks ready to start after leading the team with five tackles.
The running game also looks ready to compete without suspended running back Ray Rice since it rushed for 237 yards as a whole.
