Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant made what seemed to be a catch toward the end of the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers.
Bryant fell down at the one-yard line, so this likely would have turned into the go-ahead touchdown. However, by the “Calvin Johnson rule,” the officials ruled that Bryant did not complete the catch and did not have full possession.
This turned out to be a controversial call, and businessman T. Boone Pickens reached out to Bryant by writing him a letter, supporting the claim that this was a catch.
He also gave advice on what the Cowboys should do this upcoming offseason.
Sporting News NFL tweeted out this story along with the image of the letter Bryant received.
