Danish stopper eager to sort out future.
Liverpool defender Daniel Agger is set to meet with manager Brendan Rodgers this week to resolve his future after informing him that he believes his time at the club has come to an end, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Agger came home during the pre-season tour of the United States and has indicated that he no longer wants to play for Liverpool.
Rodgers will now seek out a plan on how to deal with Agger’s feelings as there has not been any bids made for his services yet this summer.
Arsenal and Barcelona had both been looking for more defensive cover but there has been no inquiry from either club, and the Spaniards may no longer be interested in the Dane having come to an agreement with Arsenal over the sale of Thomas Vermaelen.
It is not thought that Agger’s desire to leave is sparked by interest from elsewhere.
