Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp didn’t give much away when he was quizzed at Thursday’s press conference about Daniel Sturridge’s comeback from his latest injury.
Sturridge has only played three games this season – and none since the start of October – due to recurring knee problems.
It has been strongly rumoured, by the Daily Mirror, that the England striker could return on Saturday in Liverpool’s Premier League clash at Manchester City, but Klopp would neither confirm nor deny this…

Klopp was also invited to comment on what sort of reaction he thought former Reds star Raheem Sterling would get from Liverpool supporters at the Etihad Stadium.
