Arsenal will have to take on Aston Villa in the FA Cup final this weekend without the help of striker Danny Welbeck after he has seemingly lost the battle to recover from a knee injury, The Sun reports.

The 24-year-old could even miss out on joining up with the England squad to take on Ireland and Slovenia in June’s internationals.
And should he be forced to vacate his spot in the England side it could give new boys Jamie Vardy and Charlie Austin the opportunity to make their debuts.
Welbeck has not featured for the Gunners since his brief cameo against Chelsea in April, and Arsene Wenger confirmed that he is still a little short of options for the showpiece finale.
That will mean that the battle to lead the front line against Villa will be left to Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud.
Walcott bagged a 33-minute hat trick against West Brom at the weekend, while the Frenchman has failed to sore in his previous eight games.
