Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas could be the key in preventing Man United ace David De Gea from completing his move to the Spanish capital.
The Costa Rican has been installed as Rafa Benitez’s first-choice stopper this season, but it has been suggested that he would be moved on in order to make room for De Gea.

However, according to Cadena SER, Navas has no intention of leaving the Bernabeu as he feels as though he has struck a rapport with the club’s supporters and has made a relatively impressive start to the new campaign.
As a result, the 28-year-old doesn’t want to leave just as he has broken into the team following the departure of club legend Iker Casillas.
That in turn will end the club’s interest in De Gea, as it had been reported that Navas would have to be included in any deal with United.
Louis Van Gaal has left De Gea out of his squad all season as he believes the Spaniard isn’t focused. With just two days remaining in the transfer window, he will undoubtedly look to bring in a replacement if he has to part company with his first choice goalkeeper.
Sergio Romero has stepped in admirably so far this year, but the Argentinian still has his doubters and it isn’t felt as though he can lead the side forward for the remainder of the season.
