David de Gea is a step closer to joining Real Madrid after Iker Casillas agreed a deal to join Portuguese giants FC Porto, according to reports.

Casillas has been heavily linked with an exit from the Bernabeu this summer, and The Sun reports the veteran gloveman will make the move to Porto after spending his whole career with the La Liga giants.
The 34-year-old’s pending move will pave the way for wantaway Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea to make a return to Madrid after he spent his youth and beginning of his senior career with rivals Atletico.
According to the report, United are demanding a £25m transfer fee for De Gea who is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford.
Real Madrid are believed to have baulked at the fee, and United are understood to be prepared to force the 24-year-old into playing another season at the club despite the fact they will miss out on a transfer fee.
