Marouane Fellaini
The big-haired Belgian looks in a shoe-in to be one of Moyes’ first signings at Old Trafford. Fellaini was linked with United long before his mentor and current boss was selected for the Old Trafford hot-seat and the 25-year-old has a release clause of around the £25m mark.
United’s squad is hardly threadbare but, with Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs boasting a combined age of 212, there is room for a new midfielder. Fellaini has already made it clear that he wants to play Champions League football next season, and the former Standard Liege man would surely snub the advances of Chelsea, Real Madrid and co. to work with Moyes in Manchester.
