Chelsea lower demands for Schurrle as Cuadrado deal on the brink.
Confirmed: Chelsea set to sell Andre Schurrle and sign Juan Cuadrado this week.
The sale of Schurrle means that the deal to sign Juan Cuadrado from Fiorenatina is drawing ever closer and is expected to be completed before the Premier League window closes at 11pm.
Mohamed Salah is also likely to leave Stamford Bridge and complete a loan move to La Viola as part of the deal to bring Cuadrado to West London.
Schurrle joined the Blues in the summer of 2013 from Bayer Leverkusen for £18m, but has struggled to establish himself under Jose Mourinho since then with Willian, Oscar and Eden Hazard preferred in attacking midfield.
The German is highly regarded in his home country and played a key part in the national team winning the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, providing the cross for Mario Gotze to score the winner against Argentina in the final.
