The New England Patriots have found themselves in hot water not long after reaching the Super Bowl, as they were discovered to have deflated 11 of 12 game balls in the AFC Championship against the Indianapolis Colts.
Head coach Bill Belichick denied that the Patriots knowingly deflated the balls, but the Patriots are expected to receive a brutal punishment due to the game balls being below the league-standard air level.
He also said that quarterback Tom Brady can give better detail on the air level in footballs since he has his own “personal preferences.”
Since the Patriots have already been in trouble for previous cheating allegations such as Spygate, the NFL is not likely to be forgiving of this incident.
