The New England Patriots have been discovered to have deflated 11 out of 12 balls that they used in the AFC Championship against the Indianapolis Colts.
Head coach Bill Belichick insisted that he was unaware of any ball deflation and didn’t know anything about it until the reports surfaced on Monday.
Quarterback Tom Brady held a press conference on Thursday, and he denied tampering with the balls’ air pressure, saying that he would never break the rules. He also said that he has not been approached by NFL investigators.
Various media outlets reported on Brady’s comments on their official Twitter accounts.
