The New England Patriots are enduring their biggest scandal since being caught filming footage of other teams in 2007, which caused head coach Bill Belichick to get fined $500,000.
The NFL is conducting an investigation on deflated footballs, as the Patriots were discovered to have been playing with 11 of them out of the 12 that they were given in the AFC Championship.
They have since released a statement on the matter, maintaining that the officials did a proper examination of the balls before they went into play.
Quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick denied tampering with the balls, but it remains to be seen whether they were lying or the officials did not properly inspect the balls.
