The Denver Broncos recovered from a close loss to the Houston Texans and dealt a crushing blow to the Dallas Cowboys with a 27-3 victory, and they finished with a 3-1 record.
Quarterback Brock Osweiler started for the Broncos and performed solidly, passing for 190 yards on 9-of-13 of his throws. The rushing attack did all of the touchdown scoring though, and the charge was led by Kapri Bibbs.
Bibbs scored two touchdowns along with 32 yards on seven carries. C.J. Anderson was also featured prominently as he rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Juwan Thompson led the team in rushing with 41 yards.
Rookie wide receiver Cody Latimer had a memorable performance as he led the Broncos in receiving yards with 66 on three receptions.
Brandon Weeden started at quarterback for the Cowboys, and he had a forgettable performance that consisted of 75 yards and an interception on 6-of-12 passing.
Dustin Vaughan did not look much better, and the Cowboys finished their preseason without a victory.
