The Broncos were heavily favored to beat the Indianapolis Colts, but they ended up losing 24-13. Manning is 38 years old and will be 39 by the time the next NFL season begins.
He didn’t look like himself in the second half of the 2014 season after coming off a historic season that won him MVP honors and took the Broncos to the Super Bowl.
It would not be very Manning-like to retire on a sour note, but you never know what decision he may make.
Bleacher Report gave an update on Manning’s retirement watch on Twitter.
