The Denver Broncos are looking for a new head coach after parting ways with John Fox, who is expected to be hired by the Chicago Bears.
Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak, who used to be the head coach for the Houston Texans, has become a popular name in head coach searches.
The Broncos will attempt to hire him even though he said he intends to stay with the Ravens. They are also going for Doug Marrone, who recently stepped down as the Buffalo Bills’ head coach after two seasons.
Marrone led the Bills to a 9-7 season and kept them in playoff contention, but he may find greener pastures if the Broncos hire him.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on the Broncos’ head coaching search on Twitter.
#Broncos will interview Doug Marrone this weekend, along with Gary Kubiak. Interestingly, John Elway heard from many coaches touting Marrone
