Manchester United look close to sealing another major piece of transfer business this summer, with a move to be concluded next week.
According to the Daily Mirror, Angel Di Maria’s move to Paris Saint-Germain will finally be completed, with the player undergoing a medical this weekend.
However, his exit is expected to be bumpy due to recent events; the 27-year-old’s future has already become dramatic as he failed to show up for the club’s pre-season tour.
This angered Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal, and Di Maria was fined two weeks’ worth of wages as a result.
Di Maria became unhappy with his situation at Old Trafford, which fueled the fire for his imminent transfer to PSG.
The Di Maria experiment failed in epic proportions at Old Trafford, as he was unable to live up to lofty expectations after signing a British record £59.7m.
