It is claimed that he is now with PSG officials to discuss and finalise details of his new contract, with reports suggesting that he will sign a four-year deal on Wednesday afternoon.
That will likely be followed by an announcement from the Ligue 1 champions to confirm that he has put pen to paper, while they will hold a press conference on Thursday to unveil him to the media.
Di Maria endured a difficult year in Manchester, with injuries and lack of form combining with off-the-pitch troubles to produce an indifferent campaign.
Although the former Real Madrid star still managed to produce 10 assists for Louis Van Gaal’s men, his overall performances weren’t up to the standards that the Dutchman expected when he signed him from the Spanish giants.
However, he has been well received by the current PSG stars who have all praised the move made by the club, and they will undoubtedly now look forward to playing alongside the Argentine this season.
