Former Uruguay international Diego Forlan is chasing a move to Peruvian side Universitario.
According to the Peruvian publication Libero.Pe, his time in Asia with Cerezo Osaka is coming to a close as a move to Peru giants Universitario de Peru want him to sign for them in 2015.

“He is in conversations with the management of Universitario de Deportes is to strengthen their team in 2015,” the report states.
The side’s Director of Football Jorge Vidal also confirmed the deal, stating on Twitter that Forlan is excited with the negotiations. “We are getting the sponsors, it would be a good deal and he is enthused,” he wrote.
His deal is expected to cost Universitario around £250,000.
