The potential availability of Atletico’s manager in the summer is seriously interesting Man City’s owners.
Manchester City may have qualified for the Champions League knock-out stages, but Manuel Pellegrini still has Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone breathing down his neck.
Reports from Spanish newspaper El Confidencial say that Simeone has taken up extra English tutoring classes, as he paves the way for a move to England next summer.

The paper also suggests that the Argentine manager might do a “sabbatical” year in the United States where he could perfect his English, in much the same way that Pep Guardiola did after quitting Barcelona.
Simeone’s amazing record as Atletico boss continues. His team sealed top spot in their group with a draw at Juventus on Tuesday night, and are in with a great chance of wining this edition of the tournament, after losing in the final earlier this year.
