Marouane Chamakh finally ends Arsenal nightmare…
Marouane Chamakh has completed his permanent move to Crystal Palace on a one year contract. The Eagles are not thought to have paid Arsenal a transfer fee.
The Moroccan joined Arsenal from Bordeaux in 2010, but only scored eight league goals for the Gunners, spending a short time on loan at fellow London club West Ham last season.
Palace have already brought in strikers Osman Sow and Elliot Grandin, and club-record transfer Dwight Gayle to play up top. Chamakh will compete with these players for a starting forward spot, as well as Championship top scorer Glenn Murray, in what will no doubt be a difficult first year back in the Premier League for Palace.
Sky Sports: Crystal Palace have signed Arsenal’s Marouane Chamakh on a permanent one-year deal.
