Crowley is highly rated at the Emirates Stadium. He captained Arsenal’s FA Youth Cup side last season and scored five goals in seven appearances for their Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League.
Arsene Wenger took him on the club’s first-team tour of the Far East this summer, and gave Crowley his senior debut as a second-half substitute in the victory over a Singapore Select XI.
The Gunners have been busy conducting business over the last couple of days, allowing Jon Toral to join Birmingham City on loan before tying Santi Cazorla and Theo Walcott down to new contracts.
