Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old completed a medical on Sunday and will spend the 2015-16 campaign trying to help Wolves to promotion to the Premier League.

“We are delighted to have brought Emi to the club for the season,” head coach Kenny Jackett told the club’s official website upon securing the Argentine’s services.
“I have been aware of him from being in and around the Arsenal set-up for a few years and he has also has experience of the Championship from loan spells with Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham.
“It is very important to have good competition among your goalkeepers not just at the start of the season but as it progresses. So it is good to bring Emi in right at the start and we are looking forward to working with him.”
Martinez has only made eight appearances in four years at Arsenal, and his first-team chances decreased further with the arrival of Petr Cech from Chelsea earlier this summer.
He has more Championship experience under his belt though, playing 11 times for Sheffield Wednesday in the 2013-14 campaign, and helping Rotherham United stay in the division last season.
