Chelsea have announced that Izzy Brown has signed a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
The 18-year-old is currently on loan at Dutch feeder club Vitesse Arnhem for the 2015-16 campaign.
But Jose Mourinho sees big things in Brown’s future and has tied the teenager down to a long-term deal.
Brown joined the Blues from West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2013, and made his Premier League debut for Chelsea against the Baggies at the end of the 2013-14 campaign.
He captained Chelsea’s Under-19 side to UEFA Youth League glory last season, scoring a brace in the final against Shakhtar Donetsk, and was also part of the Under-18 team which lifted the FA Youth Cup.
The versatile attacker has started three of Vitesse’s four Eredivisie games so far this term.
