Marco van Ginkel joins AC Milan on loan…

Chelsea have confirmed that midfielder Marco van Ginkel has joined Serie A side AC Milan on loan. The 21-year-old becomes the second player to move between the clubs in as many days, following Fernando Torres’ loan switch to Italy.

Van Ginkel joined Chelsea from Vitesse in 2013, but has made just two Premier League appearances thus far, and spent much of last season ruled out through injury.
The Dutchman has been capped twice by his country – making his debut in 2012 – and will hope to gain some valuable first-team experience in the Italian capital.
