Chelsea have made their seventh – and probably biggest – signing of the summer by completing a deal to bring rapid winger Pedro from Barcelona to Stamford Bridge.
Pedro won five La Liga titles and three Champions Leagues with Barca. The 28-year-old, who has also won the World Cup with Spain, will be confident of adding the Premier League to his impressive list of honours.
He told Chelsea’s official website: “I am very happy to be here. I am very excited to start my adventure at Chelsea and I am here to keep winning titles.
“Thanks to the club and the supporters for giving me the opportunity to put the blue shirt on.”

Pedro passed a Chelsea medical earlier today, which is no surprise as his impressive fitness levels are one of his major assets.
His speed and stamina, coupled with his excellent goals record, make him a fine addition to the Chelsea squad.
Pedro scored 21 goals and provided 14 assists in the last two La Liga campaigns.
He has netted 16 times in 51 senior appearances for Spain since making his international debut in 2010.
Pedro joins Joseph Colley, Nathan, Asmir Begovic, Danilo Pantic, Baba Rahman and Monaco loanee Radamel Falcao on Chelsea’s list of summer signings.
