Liverpool have announced that winger Lazar Markovic has completed a season-long loan switch to Fenerbahce.
The 21-year-old star has made 34 appearances for the Reds and scored three goals, but will now look to benefit from more playing time in the Super Lig.

Fener ended last season in second place, and they have responded by spending significant money to bolster their squad which included the signing of Robin Van Persie from Man United.
However, that wasn’t the end of the spree for the Turkish giants, as Markovic will now be a welcome addition to their squad as they look to surpass Galatasaray this season.
The Serbian international was signed from Benfica last summer, but failed to have the desired effect that Brendan Rodgers had hoped for.
As a result, both parties have seemingly agreed that a loan spell elsewhere will be beneficial for the player, with Markovic hoping to return to Anfield next summer ahead of repaying the initial faith that the club placed in him.
