Van Persie’s move to Turkey should guarantee him first-team football next season, which will boost his chances of gaining selection for the Netherlands squad to travel to Euro 2016 in France.
Fenerbahce finished second in Turkey’s top league last season, ending up three points behind champions Galatasaray, despite having a superior goal difference.
